Where do I park?
There is a parking lot directly beside St. Hubert's and parking in the circular drive as well.
What time should I be there?
Services are at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. Sunday mornings. You will want to arrive at least 10 minutes before service time to allow for parking and entering the church. If you have children, add another 5 minutes for taking them to the Sunday School.
What should I know beforehand?
St. Hubert's uses the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and the 1982 Hymnal at services. Both are supplied in the pews. Our bulletin will guide you through the service, no doubt along with friendly help from others, if needed. Our readings are from the Revised Common Lectionary.
What should I expect from the service?
We are a liturgical church with readings from the Old Testament, Psalter, New Testament and Gospel. St. Hubert's celebrates a traditional Episcopal communion (otherwise known as Eucharist) service at both services every Sunday. You are not required to take communion, but everyone is welcome. There is no music at the 8:30 service.
How long should I expect the service to last?
Generally about 45 minutes. Please plan to stay and visit with us over coffee and treats.
What about my children?
St. Hubert's has a wonderful Sunday School program for children of school age and a well-supplied nursery for babies to pre-school ages during the 10:00 service. We employ a Nursery Nanny who is aided by volunteers. Our Sunday School is coordinated by our Ministries Coordinator with the help of many volunteers from the parish.
What should we wear?
St. Hubert's is a somewhat casual church. Comfortable, maintained, clean clothing is acceptable.
